The OEC Team norms are that every member of OEC is the Team, has equal say, can depend on interpersonal trust and mutual respect, with no micro-management of the Team members. It strives to excel in communication within the Team and with its partners and customers. It is responsible for the delivery of the Council’s directives through management and operations of OEC’s resources, knowledge, competencies and skills.
The Mission of OEC is to enable every student to access education internationally and support the attainment of each student’s economic ambition. The OEC Team philosophy is that management is most effective as a team, not as individuals seeking to compete with each other. The OEC Team seeks to build a community which is self-sustaining and mutually beneficial through it triangular philosophy of entrepreneur, partners and customers. This is the logical path to creativity and innovation within OEC, and it is conducive to creative problem solving. The OEC Team working-together-culture thus results in higher job satisfaction for Team members, which in turn results in delivering better service to our customers compared to our competitors.
